Designing and producing stage decoration and props for a school play of 'Wind in the Willows'.
After the initial design, I led a project working with KS2 (yr 5&6) students to develop backdrops, scenery and props for their school play. I also made costumes and painted faces. This was a volunteer project.

Video Game Design Module
Development and delivery of a module in game design and history for KS2 (yr 5&6) students.
After agreeing a suitable module plan that would encompass the current curriculum, I delivered a module based in game design and history to students aged 9-11, providing students with basic knowledge of graphic creation (both manual and computer based) for use in animation. I developed and delivered lessons to the students and liaised with staff to ensure that the children’s needs were being met and the curriculum integrated within the module over the course of 7 months during 2009/2010. The students were divided into teams and, with some assistance, created the theme for their game level and the graphics These graphics were then passed to my team who scanned and manipulated the images for animation and then created the desired animations. The students created the sound effects and posed for still photographs to create the intro and end game sequences. The show-reel below is a compilation of all of the work created by the students, my team and myself throughout the project. The students produced excellent work and we were able to develop an intro, assets and credits for a game of their design using their assets.
The students at the school engaged very well, were very enthusiastic about the project and came up with lots of great ideas. The teaching staff at the school were also incredibly pleased with the provided course.
